Law needed to stop cell phone use while driving

I know I keep harping on this, but it's important. Many of the cases that are handled at C&C Law are caused by distracted drivers. Cell phone use, either talking or texting, is one of the leading causes of driver distraction, thus accidents.

This opinion piece from the Towanda Daily Review caught my eye. It's a good read and provides many statistics to push home the idea that Pennsylvania needs a law that prevents the use of cell phones while driving.

I agree 100% with you. PA ... DEFINITELY has to stop cell phone usage while driving. The other an ambulance was trying to make a left turn to get into a housing development. I was at the stop sign & waited for them to make the turn. However, a woman behind me talking on a cell phone, either didn't see their flashers or HEAR her blowing the horn; she darted around me & right in front of the ambulance! If the ambulance drive hadn't stomped on her break, they would have collided! I am originally from NY...if NY/NJ & other states can band HAND HELD cell phone usage WHY CAN'T PA!
